So this weekend I tried to pull the rear plugs on my SX230 ho and one came out nice and easy but the other one seems to be stuck. Anyone else ever have this issue or have any thoughts one what I should do?

Loop a rope around the handle of the plug and wrap it around a 2x4 for leverage. Be sure to release the button before you pull. If that doesn't work you can do the same with a floor jack. It is not an uncommon problem for plugs that have been left in an extended period of time. Rebuild kits are available for the plugs if it doesn't operate smoothly after you get it out.

also, make sure it is unlocked, push the t-handle down to lock it again and then push the button while making sure you feel spring release,

To add to that, once you get the plug out, try to remove them after every trip, they usually only get stuck when left in for extended periods of time.

Good luck...Let us know how it works out!

What Zarzella said works great. My theory is that fine sediment in the water settles into the seam around the plug and sort of glues it in. Possibly the water that you boat in will influence this. I have to remove mine after every outing. Wait a few days and they are difficult to remove. I had to use the 2x4 method once. And mine are well greased with silicone grease. Cam.

Listen to all these people, it happens to a lot of folks. I thought i would never get mine out after we purchased our yamaha this spring, after sitting for 7mos. Just make sure it is unlocked and pull hard with something, it will come out, mine did.

The best advice I got from this forum on this subject is, "buy a can of Silicone Spray Lubricant". My plugs now install and remove with ease during each outing. Solved a couple other problems also. I love this stuff (available everywhere).

I keep a can in the boat and spray the plugs before and after a day in the lake.

I bought a used LS2000 a few years ago to fix up and flip, one of the clean out plugs was so stuck, I used my tractor's front end loader bucket, hooked a rope around the plug, damn near lifted the boat off the trailer before the plug finally came out, that was after two days of soaking it with PB Blaster. Had to rebuild both clean out plugs, I think the previous owner never took them out.

Sorry to not get back till now. I used the 2×4 trick and got it to come out after a boat load of pulling. I'm going to try the silicon spray next year as she is all bundled up for the winter. I use silicone spray on my snow blower shoot so I always have that laying around. Thanks everyone for your help.
