I can't find the thread where someone said putting a pool noodle inside the table leg would make it float. I tried it in our backyard pond and it sank like a rock. If there is something else I was suppose to do, please let me know. But I caution everyone to test the flotation before relying on the pool noodle.

I did the pool noodle trick and mine floats for a while. I kept jamming it on and then melted the ends with a torch to seal it. I think that might slow the water absorption.

I don't know if this would work but what about expanding foam sprayed into it? At least to seal the ends maybe?

Mine floats. Make sure you stuff the entire length.

I think this works on the older straight table legs, not the newer style with the bend in them.

Spay expanding foam seems like a winner or just find a way to plug up the ends and trap air inside.
