I turned the engine off and my tach kept moving. The engine would turn over great but would not start, I turned the master switch off and back on and the engine started fine.
This happend several times and finally the engine would not start at all.
I took it back to dealer and he said for reason's he can't explain it was a blown 20a fuse.
Any idea's on what went wrong? The mechanic said it was just an anomaly!

Last time I read anything about a stuck tach and motor not starting was related to a bad ecu. That was on a non-Connext boat though so who knows. Hope that's not the case for you. How's your battery voltage? What fuse blew?

The 20amp fuse blew. Mine does not have connext either.

Oops just saw you were in a 19' my bad.

No worries, I'm bought it new this year and am learning a lot really fast about boating. I wouldn't trade the fun we are having for anything but getting stranded on the lake after watching fireworks really sucked! Just want to be proactive and smart so this doesen't happen again. But like my Jeep, Don't ask why or how just enjoy.
