We are going to visit some family in November. Any recommendations for renting a boat for a day and where to go with it?

Plenty of places to rent a boat down here, if you are going to be boating out of Tampa and south, head out to Egmont Key it's a beautiful place to spend an afternoon, and you don't have to rent a boat to get there you can use a ferry. Anna Maria Island has some of the best beaches in the area. The Clearwater area has great beaches and Caladesi by boat is worth the visit. I'm sure the Tampa folk will chime in, enjoy your time down here !
