I organized a department get together at a water access only beach. Company gave all of us the day off work. Ended up with 24 people. I got 14 new never-before surfers (ages 10 to 55) up behind the yamaha and 3 or 4 figured out how to go ropeless. In all a very fun day. Nice wake with 2000lbs of ballast and sometimes 15 people in the boat. Cam.

So jealous. Getting newbies up the first time is more satisfying to me then any other boating activity. That kind of weight is similar to what those crazy Missouri boys do. Did you use your custom board?

That's great @CAM212SS. The fact that you didn't suck up a rope with all those newbies is equally impressive.

15 people in the boat....yikes...that's not even room to turnaround.

Over peopled but not overloaded. 4 were kids. Company paid gas and food too. Had a cook and a beach barbecue going. Was a very satisfying day. We used our hyperlite broadcast 5'6" since it is the easiest to learn on. Took every toy we had except the water skis. We had newbies up 3 at a time on the kneeboards. Long day and back on the trailer just at dark. Those smith poles with the lights sure make that easy. Wish we lived closer so some of the JBN get togethers. Cam.
