Anyone interested? We will be on the water Fri afternoon and Sat. Sorry for the short notice.

I'll be there (Liz too)

@DCB-270 That may be a go! Will have to check with the warden, but you never know. At the very least we might hit the water with you on Saturday! You guys staying up at Soldier? @maboat Mark, where are you and Liz thinking about?

If I can find a place to stay Saturday night that would allow us to have our dog we will be there.

We are at Buncombe. We been going there for a couple of years.

I might maybe make this work

Ack! We'll be out of town! :(

We're at Buncombe too

What accommodations at buncombe? The motel rooms or do they have trailers now?

They have trailers That were remodeled a few years back. Not much to look at on the outside but they are OK on the inside. No porches and window air. Full Kitchen and large bath. We started going there because Soldier seemed to be going down hill. Buncombe is cheaper, closer to the Islands, restaurant is good and cheap, Marina looks new, boat ramp works in high or low water and the people working there are really nice.

Got a trailer for Saturday night! Only wanted one night and I got it.

We used to go to Buncombe for lunch...the Anchor 'N restaurant is really good for most anything from Burgers to Chicken Fried Steak, to nice hot lunches, especially on Sundays. I agree Dan @DCB-270 , the ramp and marina ARE first rate, as is the staff. I have never stayed with them, but I have had reservations with them several times and ended up moving somewhere else.

We have trailer 218! Slip too! Way to go @PEARCE !

We may just eat at the restaurant instead of packing stuff to cook/eat. Have them make the lunch boxes too!

Truck is going in for transmission work next weekend. Will check with @Rana if it fits into her back to school schedule. Would love to make it.

Yeah, I seem to have missed out on that bar tab!

Ah man, I wish I lived in Texas, this would be a great gathering for me, Danno, and the Dawg to attend. Maybe someday.

LOL @Suchawittygal and @DawgDaze , I seem to remember Danny asking me about the gathering a week ago, and saying he would be on his way...but it was 1500 something miles! That Dawg is familiar with the waters...just drag her over, there is room on the beach or in the cove!

Nice! How'd you pull that off? They told me two night minimum on weekends
