I went to dinner at HighPort marina Saturday nite. Ran into a chum with a bottle of rum...and... Well you know the rest. Missed the Saturday nite social but got to keep my boat in a covered slip at HighPort during the storm. Got back on the water mid morning after the rain and made it back to Buncome marina just in time to check out

I always enjoy our meet-ups but it sure was different for August. Cool, cloudy, and breezy!?!?!?! Kudos to @DCB-270 Dan and V for the fireworks show as well as a shout out to Jeb for The Worlds Best Jeb-Jerky. Mel, I somehow, once again, missed your famous guacamole. Some day.... Some day....

We had a great time Saturday! The girls woke up a tad sick and Melanie and I didn't sleep well. That plus the rain and wind kept us off the water today. We loaded up, cleaned up and got home early. We did have a great time, and I took ZERO pictures so glad to see a few up here.

A great group of folks we have in this corner of the internet for sure...
