That's the way you do it...

That right there is funny!!! @Suchawittygal &/or @DawgDaze Doesn't that tube have the "Boston" valves that you can remove? I just pull all of mine, walk away and it's pretty much deflated within 5 minutes on it's own. Anyway, I'm sure your way is much more fun!!!

It DOES have those valves but this thing is HUGE ! I didn't want to wait for it to inflate so I helped it! LOLimage.jpg

Something that tube discussions always needs...is management of how and when to inflate/deflate. I know many of you inflate at home where you have room and haul the tube to the lake inflated. I sure could have done that but I found inflating at the lake to be easier that transporting a full tube. But doing that means you kind of have to plan strategically when your going to use the tube. All the kids say, we want to tube now! and you have to stop and inflate the dang thing, then drag it around all day if you don't have a place to park it that it won't get stolen! Because most are way too big to haul around while your doing board sports too. Anyway, give a little thought to it...but i guess that if you do it that way Danny, Cheryl won't get the fun of watching you ride that puppy when you get home! @DawgDaze @Suchawittygal :winkingthumbsup"

That's the ONLY time I'll be on it. I drive the boat . I had a bad experience tubing back in the day and never been on one since. Maybe soon though. That thing is a lot of fun!

The thing about riding a tube danny, you give the throttles and sadistic control to someone else, at YOUR expense! My tubing days are behind me, no pun intended! I am now a tube manager! lol

That's so true @txav8r about tube management, we inflate our tube the first day out on the water and it stays inflated for the length of our trip (usually several days). If we don't want it with us, we either leave it in the slip or in the cove tied up to our anchor line.

@DawgDaze that's the same design as ours. I love Costco!!! It is huge. I know you don't have a tower (yet). There are many times where we'll be tubing and a kid will want to wakeboard. Having a tower on our boat, I can actually wakeboard with the tube in tow behind the boat. It takes some preparation, but the key is to have a loop of rope permanently in place at the front of the tube. I then just hook that loop onto the tow point on the swim deck. This leaves only the last 1/2 of the tube actually in the water so it follows right behind us. Then I tow the wakeboarder from the tower. It saves having to go back to shore to drop off the tube.

Yup costco! They tell you NO WRINKLES in the directions but I couldn't get that much air into the damn thing while we were on the boat. I was afraid of killing the batteries but I wasn't even close to doing that bit that pump was taking forever to get done. I'll use the airhead next time and I'm not referring to my wife! LOL

I almost drowned because of the idiots on the boat thought it would be funny to whip the boat around while I was on a tube. I know suchawittygal would never do that but I'm ok at the helm thanks! LOL
