this is going into the boat next weekend

Nice I just installed my Polk's and Fusion HU w/remote! Best of luck on install. I reused mother Yamaha's connector and soldered it to the Fusion for easy install.

Highly suggest a nice class d amp to push those amazing speakers!!! It will be night and day difference.

Those look great and I have not seen that type of built in enclosure. I guess you need some extra room for the depth of the speaker but that wouldn't be a problem where we usually install speakers. Report back on how they sound!

Woohoo!:winkingthumbsup"

UPDATE:
I took the winter wrap off the boat today and checked for Bose speaker fit.
The factory holes are a little bit too small, they need to be widened. Probably a Dremel job.

The front two speakers do not fit into the boat. There is literally not enough cavity in the hull to fit the speaker enclosure.
Luckily, the rear ones will fit easily (I'm going to have to dremel out the holes first). I wired one up just to test and it sounded so much more powerful than the OEM speaker. Great low punch, great trebles.

Installing the M303 radio was real easy (having swapped plenty of car stereos in my life), and everything works great. I also hooked up the MF1 remote, you only need to plug in the round DIN plug, none of the other wires. This new radio has all the features I need (bluetooth and USB) so I'm very happy with it. The Pandora option is also great (although only works over USB), you can browse your Pandora channels directly from the head unit.
