Thrust Vector XV spraying all over.

Looks like the port side, left fin is hanging down at an angle further. Could that bolt be missing or installed incorrectly? Will points out in his video to make sure the bolt is seated correctly through the gate. Maybe it's not all the way through?
I've noticed it in both sides. When I turn over side will stop then the other start. Straight both do it on and off. The bucket is loose and not binding up. I made sure the bolts went in smooth and seated on the pump and not hanging the bucket up. I finally just took them off the boat. I'm on a week long boating trip and was more worried about surfing than steering. I'll figure them out when I get back. I'm thinking about ditching the Wake Wedge as changeing sides is way harder than it sounds on paper. Then I'll put the fins back on and try it without the brackets.

I just put on a set of older XLs on my boat and I'm getting spray just like that, but at 30 MPH. I had the spring retention thing at the 2 o'clock position for more tension. Where did you have yours? I changed mine to 3 o'clock and I'll see how it does this weekend. Oddly mine only does it on one side (starboard) 90% of the time and about 10% on the other. It doesn't matter where anyone sits, it still has the same issue. Seems to go away above 35 MPH but I usually cruise at 30 so it's really annoying. It also looks like the fins on the starboard side are bouncing in the jet wash.

I have the XVs and, from what I can tell, there is no adjustment in the spring tension. The top clips into a predrilled hole on the fin and the bottom clips onto a tab on the pump where the steering rod hooks. In agree it's annoying.... I got on my surf board and watched them in the water. They are flimsy/flexible and are constantly moving and changing angles or being bent back and forth while on a plane. I never got my problem fixed and wasn't able to return them so they are sitting on my garage floor right. Good luck.
