Thrust Vectors for 99 Yamaha Exciter 270

Hello, has anyone installed the Thrust Vector on a 99 Yamaha Exciter 270 ??

The Jetboat Pilot website states the install may cause rubbing against the fiberglass during hard turns. They said if I buy it and have issues I can return it.

Don't want to go through the trouble of install if it is not going to work ??

For that matter has anyone installed Cobra fins on this type of boat since that would be my 2nd option.
