Time for 2nd Oil Change

Fuel injected engines often run rich at low rpm, you need to wind up the engines from time to time to get the plugs up to temp and that will help keep them clean. I always notice the engines are a tad rougher when pulling out of the dock as the warm up idle is rich. I can feel they're smoother after a brief blast above 5000rpm which gets the plugs hot.
@212s.....agree 100% ..... BTW @ 212s if it's not too much trouble could you PM me to tell me where you are going to have your new boat serviced? I tried to PM you but the post would not go through! Thanks.

Well I have 75 hours on the boat I believe and I am going to change the oil for the second time. It is 60 hours give or take past the first oil change I did. Was hoping to finish the season and then do it, but I have a feeling I am going to go past 100 hours, probably 15-20 hrs past if we do some Salmon trolling in Late September/October. Pretty excited to put all the watersports crap away and get some fishing me time. Will change the oil again once I get her ready for the winter. I don't think it would be a good thing to push it.

Hey if you need someone to help you launch (noticed your solo thread) hit me up! I’d be open to help you launch (and do some fishing!:)

HI @Canuckjetboater The 50 hour oil change I'll do myself. The 10 hour was done at the dealer, and any warranty work will be done at the dealer too. Seasonal oil changes I can do myself in the driveway - just ordered an electric pump to suck out the oil and expect to do it next weekend. Previous boat I could drain just like a car engine into an oil pan. This will be my first oil change where the oil is sucked out...should be easy enough I think.

I'll check my settings, but I don't think I have PM turned off...
