I am going to build a 19 foot 2 seater river jet drive tip tank with outriggers boat, I have never built a boat before but lots of hot rod experience. I would greatly appreciate comments and suggestions on powertrain, I'm considering using a motorcycle drive shaft engine ( possibly BMW boxer 1250 ) looking for jet drive and motor suggestions and comments, pros and cons. Keep in mind I live in Laos a landlocked country, most sourcing will be done in Thailand if possible. Please and Thank you in advance

Use a waverunner engine and pump. Following the progress.

That would be the simplest, I was hoping to build something more unique not to mention a bike powertrain would be more cost effective sourcing parts, also sourcing wave runners in Thailand may not be easy to find something decent, either a beat up rental or a lifetime of salt water or both.
