More like "went from his very last day to a whole new lease on life. . . . . . "

As a long time motorcyclist, specifically sportbikes and MX - that makes me SICK!

What, that you never have been able to replicate it? . . . . ;)

I wonder what happened after the driver releazed someone was on the roof and slammed on the brakes.

Nor I. . . .I got rid of my last bike (03' Triumph Daytona 955i) around the same time I bought my first boat. Been dying to get back into one since. This vid definitely give me pause.

You can actually see him jump down off the roof once it stopped.

I've seen a lot of nasty shit over the years - some things I wish I never saw.
I still have my Triumph Daytona, my Aprilia Tuono and my Husqvarna SuperMoto - but with the boat, I'm not riding nearly as often as I use to. Barely ever these last couple of months. Have thought long and hard about taking a break and letting them go. Maybe get some Yamaha quads for my kids instead.

What year/model Daytona?

2004 Daytona 600. I had a 01' 955 - sold her to get the 600. 955 was more powerful, but the 600 gets around the track way faster.04Daytona600_front.jpg

Im way too big (6'3" 220) for a 600. . . . otherwise I might have taken her off your hands. . . = )

Looking at the BMWk1300S. . . . . I need a windshield and something for a longer haul.

Thats one crazy ride @0627Devildog. In my line of work, in Southern California traffic, I've seen way too many guys not nearly as lucky as that guy. Glad to see he walked away from that one.

@itsdgm - you on the job out there?

WOW!! That was incredible!! I used to ride as well. But I promised my wife I would never get another motorcycle. She heard about both of my wrecks and thought that I have been granted some extra lives. Both times my bike was totaled and both times the other driver (car) never saw me. Flipped 6 times on the highway and one telephone pole. Now the closest thing I have to riding again is my Waverunner. Luckily I haven't had a boat pull out in front of me...yet! :)
