Consider runnning a thin line in as far as you can and use a vacuum to pull it through.

I ran the wires for my 2019 FSH 210 Sport when I installed tower speakers and spreader lights. Some of the crossmembers were not hollow where they attached to the "main" support structure. I ended up having to jump from one to the other using a step bit and drilling new holes. I put a rubber grommet around the holes after drilling. Worked out well. I put wire protector on the exposed areas. Looks professional IMO. I also pulled string through for any future projects I might have that requires pulling more wire. Not exactly sure about the AR but I hope this helps.

Not tried this on the tower but I’ve had success with a magnet on other projects. This might work well particularly if you’re starting from the bottom and you want to direct it upwards. If you try it, maybe place a piece of paper or something under it so it doesn’t mark up the finish. The other ideas above are good too.
