Tower speakers what do you recommend

Love my exiles !!!!!

@robert843 I don't have any towers soeakers and it doesn't bother us. We have 3 pairs of Wetsounds 650's that can be bought for $169 a pair right now with a single 6 channel amp and a 12" Wetsounds sub. If done creatively, the same system could be had for $1,300 or so. If I were to add anything it would be another set of 650's midcabin. But that requires another amp for my system.

I'm going to do a pair of Wetsounds Rev8's this year :D
I dropped my boat off this morning to have Wetsounds REV 8's speakers, SD6 Amp and REV 10HP 10" sub installed.

I get the boat back Friday night for Saturday lake time!

I run 4 Wetsounds REV10's with tons of power..... You can put mine in the ridiculous category. What tower speakers to spring for will ultimately be a question of what you goals are. Good clean sound for near field listening, my first choice would be JL followed by Rockford if you want less expensive. If you want to own the sandbar or cove.... or hear clearly while doing watersports, you need an HLCD speaker like Wetsounds, Exile, etc. I had Exile before the Wetsounds and they are a terrific choice and typically a little less expensive than the Wetsounds. You can also find Exiles on demo deals and save a ton. Wetsounds is the pinnacle and there is a difference in build and sound quality...... but they are pricey!

I have Wet Sounds ICON8s with non-swivel clamps which I can tell you are very durable. Those are also much better built, waterproof, and lighter than any standard 6.5" aluminum pods.

The only thing is - WS speakers are very bright. Not mellow. Which is fine in the boating environment.
