Trim Tabs

Has anyone ever installed hydraulic trim tabs on a 242 L/S (or any other Jet Boat)?
Just curious...picking up our '14 Limited S this week and know several friends that had them on other 20 - 28 foot sport boats and loved them.

Sure they will help!
but what are trying to fix? Get to a point where you say, "I think tabs would help a lot today" and then look into it.

This is what I did on my 230 https://jetboaters.net/threads/lectrotab-trim-tabs.71/

I used custom trim tabs from http://www.lectrotab.com . They were easy to work with and provided exactly what I asked for at a competitive price. We are very happy with the improvement in handling.

I have read where a same hulled 240 owner had great success with Volvo QL Interceptors.

Mounted the trim tabs today...
Measured 39 times.. Mounted the first one and realized it was wrong! Forgot to account for the depth of the piano hinge. Too late to change it. . The starboard one is right though! Lol
