What is the final decision on the best place to put the trolling motor on the left or right already mounted battery s in front of changing room I have 1 inch starboard ready to cut and best plug location in ancor locker or where? I've had this trolling motor all winter need to get it on.

Put it where YOU like it.
Keep it as close to centerline as possible and the side to side weight won't matter.

Mine is on port side. With livewell filled boat is flat level. My shop did a great job with the starboard mount. Works great. IMG_1354.JPG
