Hello. Just got new 2020 24ft se. Is anyone putting new VHF radio on. And if so wants a good one to get. Will mainly be boating in lake erie
 
This is what I bought. Thought that the GPS on it would help in case of emergency

I went with the cobra MRF 77W GPS. Having GPS gives me a redundancy to my lowrance and allows me to transmit my location in the event of an emergency.
