Vibration, starboard side +7,500 rpm

Sooo.... I may have sucked up some dirt. Now my starboard side vibrates above 7,500 RPM. Plan on looking at the impeller later. Anything else I should look at? Thanks all!
 
The impeller looks good. Bearings look good. Shaft looks good. What else could cause the vibration?

It was probably a twig that fell out or got spit out. I suspect when you put it back in the water it will run fine.
 
If you still have the pump out I suggest you fill the bearing with gear oil to assist on protecting them.

I do not but it is easy to pull so I will knock it out before I go out again.
 
@buckbuck, you called it. It ran like a dream after taking it apart and putting it back together again. I was doubtful because nothing came out (that I saw). Either way thanks for the heads up!
