Hi all. Sorry if this has been covered but my search did not reveal what I wanted. I am in a 2022 AR210 and would like to just add two tower speakers and a subwoofer to the current stock head and four speakers. I'm not super concerned with having a system the whole lake can hear just a little bit more sound in more places with some bass. I know nothing about choosing an amp(s) that would be required to power this set up or what a good configuration would be. Any ideas? Oh, and yes I WILL be adding a house battery.

M700/5 JL bridge 4 channels to 2 for towers and it has a sub channel. Great amp.

What if I wanted to add the four stock speakers to the amp?

I added a rockford fosgate punch 600 watt amp for my 4 cabin speakers which are wetsounds recon 6.5" stock rated for 60 rms and 120 peak and now they are running @ 75 watts @ 4 ohms per channel and they stood up nicely. I added 2 wetsounds Icon 8" towers and another RF 500 watt, 150 per channel @ 4 ohms amp and the system is fricken loud and sounds sweet! It definitly has plenty of bass. Im not a big fan of subs in a fiberglass boat, just too much rattling.

As Rockit said, you need an amp to get stock speakers pumping...having said that, I believe the ASA speakers in the 210 series are of mediocre quality. It would be worthwhile to upgrade the four stock speakers and add an amp for them depending on your budget and needs. There's lots of good info on here about brands and models of speakers for your boat, tower, etc.

I've had great luck with the JL amps. They are very efficient and only warm to the touch even when running loud volume for extended periods. I have M400/4 for my boat speakers in addition to the M700/5 for towers and sub.

Thank you for the information guys!

I really love the looks on the so mentioned tower speakers; but for the sake of simplicity, flexibility and less hassle with power connections. I recommend the JBL Boom box. with 24 hrs of play time
