Hi everyone!
I have been searching the threads and been trying all of the advice given on ways to get the water out of the ski locker and nothing is working.
it seems to be sitting half way up the drain hole.
I had read in other threads that there are plugs near the bilge, under engine compartment but I couldn’t find any.
I also took the oil dip stick to see if anything was blocking the drainage, the dip stick did get stuck on something but I also wonder if there’s a grate.
Anyone have any luck on this?
I hate the wasted space it is since water is always in it, it’s not an ideal storage space.
Thanks for any help in advanced!

I'm not sure how the 195 is designed, but do you have a check valve on that drain hole? I know I have a few on the 165, but none for the ski locker. In this pic, I've circled what it looks like on the 165. If you do have one, I'd remove it and check it for debris. Otherwise, the general technique is to push lots of water through to flush them using a hose with high enough pressure.

I have a 195 and this is normal. If I run the boat with the bow up the water will drain out but it comes back once I stop/idle. Needs to be manually drained.

Yeah, I thought he was saying it was blocked. But yes, agreed, all of our boats don't drain completely automatically. You need to do with @Scarab16 is saying or other method (aka sponge).

Ahhh got ya! Thanks so much for all the info and help! Looks like I’ll be sponging it out if we need it or we just leave it empty, it’s just a shame it’s such a waste of space since it can’t stay dry
Thanks so much everyone

Personally, I use a dry bag to store stuff in there. Works well. They sell them in all kinds of shapes like duffle bags. No wasted space that way and a great spot to ensure stuff actually STAYS dry. lol
