Hey Guys/Gals, I'm about to finish up my stereo upgrade and the WS Sub finally showed up yesterday. Really excited to see how this adds to the new upgraded sound system.

For any of you that have this Sub where did you put the "wired level remote" that adjust the bass level/output?

I was thinking above the throttles in that area. But, Honestly I'm not sure and since I have to drill another hole for the wiring I dont want to screw this up. Or would it be better to have it under the seat where the sub is actually located and therefore out of sight? Not sure..

Any thoughts or suggestions?

Thanks

I would want it near the helm. Somewhere I could adjust it on the fly to keep the wife/kids/guests comfortable.

Granted I do not have the same boat but you get the idea, I put mine just below the console. See pic below. Love the fact it is easily accessible. Use it all the time (love bass).

I’m not mounting mine, my wet sounds head unit has a plus/minus switch for zone 2 pre out which I attached to the AS sub... works great, no extra wiring,.. does your head unit do same maybe

I’m sure it does as that’s a stout head unit, I know it offers speaker grouping and the sub mix can be adjusted for each group. Maybe the remote would still be nice but for me it’s another item an wire an going to forego for cleaner cockpit
