Ted Lasso on Apple TV+ is a really good show. Lots of dad jokes mixed in with some British humor based on an American football coach trying to teach soccer in the English premier league
The wife and I love Billions, waiting for the rest of season 5, (stupid pandemic). Yellowstone is awesome too, we are thru seasons 1 & 2, looking forward to watching season 3
Watched this documentary last night, wow! I have always said that social media will be the downfall of society! I can honestly say that I have NEVER been on any social media platform, and never will. Well I guess Google would be the exception, but only use it as a search engine. After watching the documentary, I think I will be changing what search engine I use in the future.
Ozark (Netflix)
Peaky Blinders (Netflix)
Billions (HBO)
Succession (HBO)
Power (Starz)
Mad Men (Netflix)
Breaking Bad (Netflix)
And maybe my favorite, can't believe nobody has mentioned Ray Donovan (Showtime)
Tiger King
My family and I just watched the first season of “The Mandalorian” and loved it. Eight episodes between 30 to 40 minutes each. The second season is set to be released at the end of this month. All episodes of a season are released at the same time.

Cobra Kai is just great! The Unicorn is super funny. Ratchet and The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel are just awesome and the cinematography is exceptional. If you're a Ricky Gervais fan After Life & Derek are hilarious.

I just watched the docu-series (I’m not sure if this is actually a word) “Enslaved” on/by Epix in TV. The series reviews the history of the trans-Atlantic slave trade and switches off between actor Samuel Jackson’s family history and a group of divers, “diving with a purpose” who travel the world diving for slave ships and freedom ships in the U.S. I caught part of an episode a few weeks ago and ended up watching all six episodes with my 18 year old son over two nights this week.
Both my son and I were born and raised in the U.S. and I thought I knew a lot about the slave trade, I was wrong. I recommend that anyone interested in history watch this series of one hour episodes. There is a lot of information to consider but some thI remember because it was shocking:
1. The Pope condoned the practice in the 1400s.
2. It is estimated that 12M Africans were enslaved over a 400 year period.
3. Approximately 2M died when the ships that transported them across the Atlantic sunk.
4. Only 4% of the 12M were sent to what is now the continental U.S.
5. A ruling in a maritime law case by a judge/magistrate in the UK marked the beginning of the end of the slave trade.
Recently watched Wonder Woman 1984 (WW84) and Soul. WW84 was horrible compared to the first movie, super cheesy but still worth the time to view it, 2.5 hours. Soul wasn’t a musical like I thought it would be and had a surprise ending, I found it very entertaining.
ww84 was so bad its good. I enjoyed it. Lots of cheese for sure. Soul was pretty, not Pixar's best, but touching. Now watching the Lego Star Wars Christmas special and it is a delight!
