20180328_111046.jpg This is HF qualty, yes guaranty for life. But when you almost break a hand when it goes. No thanks.
I use my tools to make money. And have plenty of backups. Cant afford to get hurt.
I will take quality over warranty anyday

For hobby use, HF is fine. If for professional use as in your case, I too would go with a better quality. Most of my stuff is Kobalt.

@Neutron... You mentioned danger to your hand... Did that break under your own power only? No Cheater bar?

Regardless, no bueno, but if no cheater bar, Shame on the tool.

Agree, I've been pretty happy with Kobalt tools. I have HF stuff for expected one-time use jobs. Random smattering though really, I've never spent the money on Snap-On/Matco - just can't see the value for homeowner/DIY frequency work.

I'm with just about everyone else here. Husky or Kobalt get the job done and with the warranty, why spend more. And got less frequently used tools (1 or 2 times a year or less) spend even less and go to harbor freight.

I bought a 204 piece DeWALT mechanics tool set in 2013 for ~$150. See pics. I have been very happy with them.
Fully chromed, laser etched size numbers I can actually read, guaranteed forever by DEWALT, zero problems of any kind in a variety of uses over the last 4+ year. Very nice carry case. Only issue is the set is quite heavy.

Are they as good enough for daily professional use? I do not know. But certainly worth consideration.

Appears the exact set I bought is no longer available, but this looks similar: https://www.dewalt.com/en-us/products/hand-tools/mechanics-tools-sets

My wife got me a very similar set from Costco for Christmas ($99) - really nice tools, and a great case that I haven't lost anything from yet. Plus they came anodized black, which makes it cool all on its own.

This is the same set on eBay for quite a bit more money:
