Newbie here so please forgive me if this has been addressed before but I don’t even know what this is called. After my first outing looked under the vessel and saw this. Don’t have any clue what it is but I’m sure it shouldn’t be sticking out.

It’s like a gasket or “o ring” of sorts. Any ideas or thoughts if should address it??

I have a feeling most are going to tell you to just pull it out as it is extra sealant used on the exhaust port.
 
I’m new to my jet boat too, just late last summer. Took it out just once so far this year, and noticed the same thing. I’m wondering too....
 
ignore it, as stated, it's just overflow sealant that finally worked it's way loose, lot's of members see it,

That is there to trap and prevent small fish from trying to swim up inside your exhaust system when the boat is parked at the beach.
