I am curious if there is any reason to bring a boat to this area or if everything of value is accessible by vehicle?

Looking at Google Maps the Intercostal appears to be dirty water with a few islands in the area.

It looks like there may be some pretty water further to the south around Treasure Shores Park.

Thanks for any and all advice.

I've been to the intracoastal a little north of there at New Smyrna Beach. It is a decent area to cruise around... There are some annoying no/slow wake zones, but lots of restaurants, popular sand bars, etc. Water isn't as nice as further south or on the Gulf, but still worth a visit.

If you can coordinate a trip to see a rocket launch from the water, that would be really cool.

Sebastian Inlet is an awesome sandbar to chill and meet really friendly people, launch from Christensen boat ramp in Malabar, it’s free with clean restrooms and ok parking (get there early) and head south to Sebastian inlet, Sanbar is shallow and nice clear water...... you can take a quick trip along the shoreline, it’s an exciting ride

seems to be red tide now so we aren't putting our boat in and we don't like it! Sand bar is so fun we miss it.
