What is this wire(hose)

So new to us AR230 on Factory Trailer and just home the other night and found this hanging from the bottom. What is this and is it needed. Any thoughts on fixes?

That is your hydraulic line for your brakes. It’s supposed to be tied up to the axle. Does it have any Cracks? Is it still attached everywhere? Any fluid coming out of it? And lastly, do your brakes still work? You can get an idea if your brakes work by unplugging the lights, and try backing up on a level surface.

If the brakes still work fine just get some heavy duty zip ties and put it back on the axle.

It’s disconnected on the rear driver side axle and grinded down so looks like a replacement is in order.

oh yeah, you have no brakes and your probably out of fluid too. Replace hose, fill and bleed. Should be good to go.

I would check all of those brake lines from front to back before ordering replacements. It looks like they haven’t been cared for in a while and you might find other issues.

Not much left if that was Big Bird... Im thinking it more likely is Pikachu"s remnants! LOL! Good luck with the trailer brakes.
