What type of adhesive to use on this stripping?

Clear silicone, had the same happen on same spot on mine.

Just replace it. That’s standard foam rubber weatherstripping you can buy at Home Depot or lowes

Weatherstripping already has the adhesive on the back. It’s peel and stick. I replaced mine a couple years ago and it’s holding up great.
just make sure you thoroughly clean off the old adhesive.
