I searched for a long time and finally decided on these. 15" Maxxis LT Radial. Found em on Pep Boys web site, shipped to store.

What is the benefit of using a light truck tire over a trailer tire?
I know this subject has been debated quite a bit, but I mainly was lookimg for a tire with a suitable load range AND a speed rating higher than 65mph. I wanted to run 70-75mph on a hot summer day and have no worries.

There are other considerations as well. One is that ST tires are designed for a limited amount of rolling resistance, whereas LT tire construction must address the tire’s traction attributes which can increase the rolling resistance.
It is a tough call, shopping for trailer tires = no fun at all. @Higgy I'm amazed how these 15' LTs fit with room to spare on you trailer!

I for one went with radials Maxxis ST in the same size as a long overdue replacement for OEM bias ply 13". I even made an effort to match the new wheels (from Recstuff) to wife's truck's .
The OEMs still looked great, I gave them to someone at my marina who was very happy. But boy, what a difference in towing smoothness!
