I am trying to flash my ECM. When connected to BUDS2 it says about my ECM "module is in bootload mode and application is not valid". I'm guessing I need to flash it but where do I find the file for my specific boat year make and model do to that? Urgently need help. I'm hoping someone knows what I need here.

To my knowledge only BRP, typically through Scarab dealers. Some companies offer their own firmware to unlock things, but it's proprietary since they sell it. Not even sure it would be compatible with our boats since they're for PwC's.

Sorry, but I'm fairly certain you'll need a dealer to do it. I doubt they'd be willing to send you the file.

Well i have an update. See the image below. I went into the reports section in BUDS2 and found these "active" and "occurred" codes. The two active ones will be gone since those are due to trying two new BOSCH O2 sensors that I thought are compatible and would get rid of the check engine light. Instead, they created two new codes. Those will be gone as I've since returned the original O2 sensors to the engine.

So that begs the question... is the CEL there due to the "occurred" codes or due to needing a maintenance job?

Maintenance due is a wrench light. So it's not that. Both past and active codes can keep the CEL light on. No way to know. Keep the pic for reference. Reset and try it out to see if it comes back.
