I noticed earlier today that I had water coming into the ski locker from the drain that was open. Where does it drain directly to?

I believe my 08 goes to lower bilge because I filled my bilge and water entered ski locker due to fwd angle in my driveway.

The hull which goes down to bilge

Ok thanks there was a little water in my bilge so that makes sense.

First year with my 2012 242LS, I have the plug open and the inside has a small amount of water inside after a day on the water. Stinks because stuff gets wet, should it be open or closed and how do you keep water out of ski locker?

Thanks, J

When your you put your boat on a lift or are trailering have the locker plug out so this compartment will drain to the other recesses that lead to the bilge. You need the angle of the boat up at the bow to help this locker drain. I generally leave mine out all the time, but the safety conscious boaters will say this is a bad idea in the event of taking on serious water. I also leave the hatch open by sticking a floaty or noodle when the boat is under cover to let the locker moisture evaporate.

Thanks good idea for keeping propped, I keep in a hi and dry.
