I searched the forum and only found threads about 6 years old. What do you guys recommend for a wakeboard rope? I always used the cheaper “standard” rope but was curious if anyone sees a difference with this style. Thanks in advance

A "standard" rope will have lots of stretch, the thermal rope won't. You want less stretch for wakeboarding.

Dyneema is great it doesn’t stretch

I have that exact rope and it’s great for the price. It’s got several length adjustments, coils up small, no stretch.

The rope itself does sink (handle floats) so you’ve got to make sure it’s not under the boat when you start. I went with yellow, hard to miss.

Used to use the cheaper poly Airhead ropes. Made the choice to switch over to a 70' dyneema rope and with no stretch its a night and day difference. My wakeboarders love it.
