I personally do not believe that Yamaha will go to replace the Toyota 2Y block in their HO with something else. Toyota itself continues to use this platform. There is absolutely no reason to switch from this engine to a new platform. I don't see one. If you need to raise from 160/180 to 200+, this can be done by remapping for E fuel or boost (SHO)
