Wife wants a steering wheel on passenger side?

My wife was "not complaining" asking for a wheel on the passenger side "Co-pilot" to hang onto. Plenty of space on the SX210 to attach something. Something long enough to be able to grab with 2 hands. (Insert smart a$$ comment here).
Any suggestions.

I would start with this search for surplus grab handles http://greatlakesskipper.com/catalogsearch/result/?order=relevance&dir=desc&q=Grab+handle&x=0&y=0 . Find something that fits then install it with some additional material on the back side to spread the load. Perhaps plywood epoxied to the back or some additional layers of fiberglass.

You need an "Oh Shit" handle.
That's what we use in the off road cars for the passenger to hang on to.
