Hey folks,

I'm not an electrician so I'm needing to know what the best way to cut in my negative & positive wires from my Garmin to the back of the toggle switch (pictured). I would rather not splice. Any feedback out there? The red wire on the left is a jumper...sorry for the bad pic.

Is this a new switch or is the switch used for something else? If it's used, wire size and amperage is important to ensure the wiring can handle the extra load from the Garmin. It's already a jumper from the switch above so you need to be sure it can carry the load. We need more details.

Either way, you either need to find female to double male spade Y adapters or else you will have to splice it in some way. There's lots of easy to use connectors at the hardware store. I like the 2 and 3 way push in connectors if you don't have the tools for crimping. You simply push the bared wire into the connector and it locks in place, no tape, solder, or mess like these:
