New to the state. Do any Wisconsin members know if there’s a State-wide boat launch pass I can buy? Or do I have to buy them by county/city? I seem to find all sorts of info on Google that has

I will be using Lake Wisconsin, Castle Rock Lake, Lake Michigan, Lake Pewaukee, Lake Mendota.

thanks!

Not that I know of, welcome to the forum. :)

I don’t believe there a ‘buy one for all lakes’..

I like in WI and every lake I go to has their own pass you have to buy.

Just standard boat launch fees you pay to individual launches and prices very. Pewaukee is weedy and gets ridiculously busy.

Like others have said, no specific Launch Pass, if the Ramp is in a State Park or Campground, you’ll need the State Park Pass or pay per usage.

Not all ramps have fees, but I’d venture to guess the ones you listed will have fees. Depending on how often you launch, some have Annual Passes.

For Pewaukee Lake you can get the Waukesha County season pass. It gives you access to three county park run launches. Pewaukee, Nagawicka, and Nemahbin. Last time I got it I believe it was 75 or 80 bucks, not bad considering a single day is around ten bucks. On Pewaukee though I prefer not using the county launch, it’s usually a zoo on weekends, and after a few harsh winters with 36 plus inches of ice, the concrete has been pushed up causing the ramps to be pretty shallow. I really like going to Gina’s Sportsdock on SS. Ten bucks, rarely crowded with other boats, and a decent amount of parking, I just make sure I get there by ten or so.

For Lake Wisconsin we launch at “The Grade” there is no fee there. Lake Michigan I launch at McKinley Marina, $12 for me, I think it might be a few dollars cheaper for you being a Milwaukee resident.
