Just bounces of XM mode when selected. Rear Main unit says "check tuner" meaning external receiver not recognized. Tried external receiver on car radio & works. Not an antenna issue. Even bought new one, and same issue. Any ideas of others with same issue. Thanks

Sounds like a support call to the head unit mfg. Since you have already done troubleshooting on the receiver. Otherwise, XM would replace that probably for free, since it is needed to support the subscription.

If that 2017 is the fusion unit, call fusion, they are a part of Garmin and have great support. It is a specifically designed fusion for yamaha, but they should support it (if that is what you have)

2016 is Polk system. The box I plug into is hidden behind 3 batteries , so if the unit is broke I'm in a tough spot. Thanks!

Yeah, mine is the check tuner. Tested & tried 2 seperate xm tuners that work in car, so not the tuner. Thanks again
