Picked up my 242 S today and was surprised to find out it had two interior led courtesy lights next to driver and passenger seat. I think it would be a great addition to add extra led lights in the rear seating area and the bow that ties in to the oem lights. Has anyone here done this? If so is it possible to splice in to oem lights so touchscreen controls all lights? Also, dows anyone know the oem part #? I would like to match the existing courtesy lights and tower lights.

Ok, this is odd. Just did a quick search and this popped up on Yamaha's web site. Is this exclusive to the '16's? My boat doesn't have bow led lights. Would love to add these and tie in to existingimage.png

Man you have the fever bad! Have fun and good luck.

I don't see why you couldn't just add the led where you want it and splice it into the next closest one. That's what I did on the Tower of my AR and worked out great!

I added 4 courtesy lights above cup holders. 2 in the bow and 2 above cup holders at the back of the boat....wired them straight to the only 2 others in the boat

@MattFX4 - that looks like a great mod! Please keep up updated. I have the same boat and would love to add those as well.
