Yamaha A230 Assistance please

Hello. I’ve just purchased my first boat Yamaha AR230.
My starboard engine light is flashing on start up. Six flashes, pause then Eight flashes.
Any ideas please.

what year is your boat ? your profile says 2002 ???

update your profile with the year and your location so we know where you're at,

also, the FAQ at the top of the page has lot's of great tips even one for flashing light codes, the link in my signature below has good information about common problems with your boat,
