yamaha deluxe waverunner FOB not working

i tried starting my 2015 yamaha waverunner after the winter and the waverunner does not respond to the FOB. I replaced the battery in the fob and still nothing. The lights do not come on and the waverunner is dead. Battery to the waverunner is fully charged
any advice on what to look for? I already tested all the fuses in the fuse box and checked for loose or disconnected cables

try moving the kill switch as you try to start it and use the start button on the handle bars
