Most are happy to, Yamaha does require that they accept warranty work whether purchased with them or not, but for general service, they do have a right to turn away a customer, again though, they generally don't.
What you may find though is that they will prioritize work on boats they have sold over those bought elsewhere. This is pretty common and if you have a very busy dealer, can be a pretty big deal as their goal is to get their loyal customers back on the water first, which I respect and appreciate.
