The factory offered Shorelandr trailer is a nice one but is there anyone out there that may have something different? I like the build of the trailer but I would like to bring the height down if possible? I feel like I'm towing a 42' Sundancer when its just a 24' sport boat. I haven't looked too close but it might just consist of a little bit of custom fad work to drop the bunks down?

Comments?

There have been a few threads where guys talked about their experiences with ordering a custom trailer. I don't know if any of them had the bunks any lower.

On my older 242 I know there isn't a ton of room between the bottom of the keel and the axles.

I don't know about the 24' boats but if the bunks on my SX192's trailer were lower, my Thrust Vectors would drag going into the driveway and probably other places.

Yamaha's have a high freeboard which contributes to the height on trailer. I greatly appreciate that freeboard when boating in salt water or when a big wake comes along on the lake. I have scraped the cross member of my MFI trailer when cresting a hill. I do not believe the boat could sit much lower without putting the keel at risk.
