Yamaha Wear Ring

Okay, so I live in NW Florida where we go to Crab Island, Fort McRee, Robinson Island etc. often. I tell you this so that you know it is impossible not to suck up sand. I know, trust me I try to avoid it but it's just the area. The wear ring has to be replaced every season because of this. My previous boat was a Scarab and SeaDoo Speedster, both of which had plastic wear rings so you didn't have to replace the impeller every year, just the wear ring. My question is, is there an after-market sleeve I can change to make this a plastic wear ring? 195 FSH

Contact www.sbtontheweb.com they sell the conversion pump housing that uses the nylon wear rings that are replaceable however I have used them for many years and never had to replace one
