Yeti Backflip under bench seat? Let’s try...

Looking for a better cooler to put under the bench, I have the AO Stow N Go which is an awesome cooler for under the bench but it’s awkward size makes it a pain in the ass to carry around especially since it does not have a shoulder strap. So I wanted to try the Yeti Backflip. (Hint: the RTIC backpack will not fit, it’s wider)

I was a bit worried about the zipper leaking water but it’s a watertight seal so should be ok. Plus it’s a boat if a little water gets in I’m sure it will be fine

What I found is it is a pretty tight fit but it works. The shoulder straps make it a bit tight but if put under seat vertically, it works quite well and still leaves room for other items under the bench:

I just bought another Coleman Party Stacker this week. Now have a red and a blue under the seat there.

Tested it in Sunday and it held plenty of drinks and food between the two of them for a day on the water.

So nice to not have a cooler on the deck under the driver's feet anymore.

Until last week I put my Tundra 65 in the boat, it took up ALOT of room, wife casually hinted maybe we should try something else, (I have been wanting a Yeti hard cooler for a long time, and just got the 65 this spring on a trade from a buddy, I think he only used it once) I found a killer deal on a M30 so I got that. Much better having the extra room, fits right next to the passenger seat without being a obstacle. Buddy gave me some flack once for spending the money on the Yeti. I told him he doesn't have to come on the boat if he don’t like my coolers. Shut him right up. (It was a good friend, just some friendly banter)
