Dropped the boat off at N.E.W. Canvas yesterday for my new two-piece bow/stern cover. Exterior detail at the end of next week and maybe in the water that weekend - if the weather cooperates.

If you’re in the eastern half of Wisconsin and need any type of cover/upholstery work done you can’t beat the guys at N.E.W. Canvas in Neenah. The quality is top notch, they’re fast, and are really good people. Just picked up my boat a couple of hours ago after they finished my snap-in bow/stern covers made from Aqualon material and am very happy with the results. They included a flap extension on the stern cover at the bottom of the windshield that keeps water from going between the two covers and into the boat and did a nice job form fitting the cover on the inside of the wake tower so there will be minimal water intrusion. This is the second cover they’ve made for me and I’ve been very pleased on both occasions.

This is like the second place I’ve posted this but I finished four of the five boat things that I wanted to get done this weekend:

1- Replaced plastic scupper with stainless steel version.
2- Installed my new Ark 750 Black Edition trailer jack
3- Replaced the original Fulton transom straps with Boat Buckle transom straps
4- Test fitted the 9’x5’ sun shade from SiteShades

Didn‘t have time for #5 which was to put the bimini top back on. I need to watch the JBP video again to make sure I get it on right.

Ended up being in the 80’s today and really wanted to get out on my maiden voyage but we had Mother’s Day brunch and I want to let the 3M 4200 sealant on the scupper set up for a few days.

Looks like next Saturday has rain in the forecast but Sunday looks OK - hopefully we will be out.

My six week extended forecast weather app shows that Saturday June 16th looks great - we should meet at the sandbar....... :)
