I ordered 50' of this trim to finish off the raw edges in all my storage areas (under the bow seats, wet storage areas behind swim platform seats, etc). I couldn't believe how fast it shipped -- the trim was on my doorstep in less than 24 hours!
Now I have a new weekend project, weather permitting...
I finished installing all the molding this weekend. 50' was enough to do the storage areas behind the swim platform seats, storage under the bow seats and storage under the rear seats. I still have enough left over to do the area around the storage closet / head at a later date, in case that molding starts to give me any problems.
I finally got tired of having sticky glue exposed and gaps in the corners of the door due to the original factory trim shrinking. So I decided to replace it.
I just did this and ended up with a door that won’t quite latch. Thinking about trying to crimp by the latch a little, or switching the seam from the hinge side to the latch. Any thoughts, while I’m in progress?
SOOOOOO glad I found this today. My trim fell off over the winter and I told myself AGAIN I'm going to replace that crap. Called and they said it will be here tomorrow. Time to get the oil changed.
bumping a very old thread... Seems like McMaster Carr no longer sells this trim in "white". Anyone know of another source for this trim or something similar? Thanks!

Old thread but goody. I had replaced years ago with OEM and it’s held….until yesterday. I was covered in the goo yesterday working in the helm. Ordered the trim from McMaster Carr.
