Where did you find them ?
North ??
Slightly NE of North Rock. We headed out to look for them around the Moselle Bank. We found a sailing catermaran named Dolphin Quest East of the North end of the Moselle Bank headed West. They had two ropes in the water with people strung out behind the boat and two or three Dolphin near the bow. We looked around further North then spotted a group of five or more fishing to the North East of North Rock. We hung out with them for at least 30 minutes. They would often approach our bow. When we decided to make one last pass and leave two took up position on opposite sides of the bow at about 8 mph.

I marked the position on the plotter and will post it.[/QUOTE]

Ok, so I had not been following this thread (not going; don't need to be much more jealous...), but now I see all that I missed! All 87 pages of it...

First and foremost, to those who took water and had issues, I am very glad you and crew are all ok. As several have observed, that is what is primary. We should not forget that. Thank you for your descriptions of what happened and what you did. I have never boated in salt, but now if/when I do I feel that I will be more prepared for your frank recount of your experiences. In addition, all of the analysis and thoughtful commentary. Invaluable, and perhaps life-saving.

Second, those who helped (went to assist, held back until help arrived, gave gas, etc.)--what a great group of people. We should all aspire to be like that.

Third, I am completely jealous of all of you who went (other than the first crossing); the pictures and videos are awesome! I doubt I will ever get my wife to go for such a trip (the crossing part), but those views are just spectacular. Thank you so much for sharing for those of us back here at home.

No go go juice until Tuesday according to someone on THT.com. Hope you can get fuel @Bruce
Bimini Blue Water refilled their tanks on Saturday so they are not expecting to run out. Bimini Sands says they will have fuel by Friday but that may be Island time. We filled up at Blue Water this morning.

The wind died down and gave a few days of excellent water. The down side was an increase in temperature. We needed to either be in the water or have the boat moving. The current forecast shows that we will have a couple of stormy days then it clears up again on Thursday. The trip back from the Blue Water fuel dock this morning was almost as bad as coming out of Port Everglades.

After one hour and 50 minutes bouncing our way from Bimini Bahamas to Port Everglades, Ft. Lauderdale, the water was finally smooth enough for a moment of relief... boys will be boys.

THROTTLE UP !!!!

We are planning to explore North Bimini on land after the thunderstorm potential clears this afternoon. We are planning to snorkel the Hesperus (Turtle Wreck) and the Turtle Rocks in the coming days. Who has other suggestions?

I talk to @Bruce aboit this briefly. I was hoping to share the raw footages I captured on my GoPro. I was also hoping to get some from others. I was unable to unpack my GoPro for the crossing and would love some footage.

I'm hoping in the near future we can set up a Dropbox or FTP on a server to share.

South Bimini is suffering a fiber cut. So I may not post much for the rest of the week. I activated an AT&T international roaming plan on my phone but it only includes 120 MB of data.

I have hours of footage from all days. I even have a 19 minute clip where I didn't realize the gopro was still on that includes about 10 minutes of footage around one of the boats that almost sank as we waited for the coast gaurd. I hope to edit some of it this weekend and post it. I only have clips from about 3/4 of the crossing as the go pro died and I didn't have the second battery with me on the ski as I didn't expect a 5 hour crossing.
