It's almost all your fault @Cowboy Casey ! lol...you gave me the bug bad dangling your boat at me! I just couldn't afford a 242, and really wanted a tower less boat.

@Impelled , Jerry, I had two things on my bucket list before I put the big airplane inthe hanger for good...
#2. Lake Powell
And the number one item on Mel's bucket list...could I get a drum roll please...got to shelbyville!

I needed a boat!

@bigwoo , it has the boat buckles, not sure if they are LEDs. I will know soon however! I checked the lights but didn't have time today to observe them. Drove 575 miles today, took a spin in a very fine boat, and came home and kissed the mrs and Chester.

@cane.mba , mike, I was solo, the mrs. was working. Someone has to fund the boat! She let me get it, I'm not going to require her to love it like me, but I think she will enjoy the boat. She thought it was good looking!

@JC6275 , I paid $64.75 including shipping. I was kind of hoping someone that was shopping for a pair might give me what I just spent and I will ship them to them free instead of paying to ship them back to the ebay seller, and trying to get a refund. Here is the invoice on them and I haven't even received them yet. I ordered yesterday. It was the best price I found total anywhere. Some were cheaper but charged shipping and made it more. Nice pics Mel. Glad it fits in the shed. I'll bet that was a relief.

Is the ladder above the boat on a pulley system to lower it?

It sure is @Zarrella John. I had an issue storing and getting that ladder out when needed. That is a pretty handy way. It takes about 1 minutes to get it down, and maybe 2 or 3 to put it away. I can't ever seem to position it correctly on the right rung to get it the first time putting it away. Out of sight, out of mind as they say. I also have an extension cord I ran so I had power at the boat right overhead. I had intended to run power to a 110 box overhead and never got around to it. I will now do that. I also bought a central vacuum unit (second hand) from my central vacuum service guy, just for the barn. It will be more convenient than a shop vac. I will have to get that installed. Then I can vacuum out the boat every time it comes back in from the lake without having to get the shop vac out to do it.

Some of you guys were talking about the drive-thru at Arby's. It was a straight shot and even then, I inched my way through there. The overhead clearance was 9'2"...I LOOKED! I still had a tire that went over a corner of a curb extension (was there to prevent you from getting too close to the window). I considered parking alongside the drive-thru but it was wide enough and apparently my balls were still swollen from "new boat" syndrome!

This is the best I can do for now to keep her out of the weather but I'll have her in a barn one day:)

Wow! I don't think that could possibly be any closer! You might want to use one of those flat fenders on the back wall to protect the swim deck and the back wall.

I think I'm as excited about you getting another boat as I was when I bought mine!

I remember many years ago my dad had the same problem with his setup at the house. Finally we got smart and painted the underside of the "key" rung red. (I wouldn't paint the tread though, might make it slippery.)

I was thinking of marking the right rung as I was typing the reply @biglar155 , so your on to something there!

Your right @Lspeedss ... the fit couldn't get much tighter! I have a half inch at the stern, and maybe an inch up front. Now my plan was to set the tongue off center and have 1.5" of room between the actual edge of the framing and the steel sheeting and insulation. So I was fairly confident I could get it in, just not get around it without crawling under the trailer to unlock the port side door. However, I can even squeeze by the winch stepping onto the tongue and crossing between the door and winch! I am a happy camper.
