Let it dry out get some epoxy and seal it up good. Have it fixed at the end of the season. It doesnt look to be a big area.

The small gel coat repair kit (west marine, Amazon, etc...) is also easy to use for something like that. It is small and if you aren't too concerned about making it look brand new from <6" away, it will be a permanent fix. It cures overnight and just requires a little wet sanding and polishing the next day.

You can do a simple temp repair for now and then properly deal with it in the off season with spectrum color matched kit for making it look like it never happened.

Ok so if I fix it with the spectrum one I'll still have to get it fixed in the off season?

If you want to do it right just call spectrum and they will tell you the exact color to use. Not sure all year Yamaha's share the same color and there are several shades of white spectrum. I believe this is the right color but call them to be certain http://www.iboats.com/Yamaha-2004-2016-White-Coat-5-CCP-LVOC-Color-Boat-Gel-Coat-Patch-Paste-Repair-Kit-Spectrum-Color/dm/cart_id.954256809--session_id.798062057--view_id.830379

If your not the painter/plaster/working with your hands kinda guy, you may want to toss a sealant over this and send it out to a pro in the off season.

The repair is not "hard" but there is a learning curve with gel coat. If you are finicky about the way your boat looks.... send it to a pro.

I've buffed out cars and wet sanded and fixed lol scratches on the boat I've also painted my car n used to hydro dip.. so the gel coat is new to me but I know a little bit. It looks pretty simple I just wasn't sure if the patches are worth it ..if they are a temporary fix or a permanent fix.

Get the Spctrum paste. You can have that fixed up in a day. Or seal it up and deal with it later. You'll just have to grind the temp repair off before fixing if you do that.

It's a good experience to get under your belt.

What they say - get the Spectrum paste, 2oz. Done right it is a permanent fix for this!

Do it once the right way and you won't have issues down the road. That's my opinion, we all have them.....
